We've been a "Team" for a long time. I guess you could say "The Ewert Team" started in 1963. That was way before we ever considered a career in Real Estate.
I'm not sure when someone decided Real Estate should be a Team Sport, but that's a mighty popular concept these days. And although Kay & I are mighty proud to say we're a team, I'm just not all that sure that the "Team" concept is really the best thing that's ever come along in Real Estate. Having a partner in this business is real handy sometimes. We often comment that we wonder how just one individual can accomplish all that needs to be done in this business - never mind that there are some that think Real Estate would be fun as a part-time occupation. But carrying it to the other extreme, we kind of feel that when there are too many "Team" members, details could be missed. " I thought someone else was covering that!" We feel that a "Team" of two is just about right. We have someone to help when things get hectic, but we know each other well enough that the details don't get lost. Actually, Kay likes to work on the details of a transaction, and she's really good at seeing that everything falls in place as it should.
