What qualities define the personality of Banyan Cove? It's a place where people take pride in their homes. Their landscapes are important. It's a relatively small community. It's not on the water. It doesn't have a golf course or a clubhouse. Those "features" aren't important to the folks who live in Banyan Cove. There are a lot of places to golf or play tennis in our area, and if you want to have a boat, you can always use the public ramps or keep it in a nearby marina.
Banyan Cove residents think their homes are important, and they like the feel of their neighborhood.
It's a relatively new neighborhood at that. It started in the late 1980's and most of the homes were completed by the early 1990's. Now the landscapes are begining to show that admired attribute of maturity. That's partly because they didn't come in and tear out all the lovely old trees when they designed the community. They knew that it takes time to grow fine trees, so they saved some of the best the land had to offer. There's a lake in the center of the community, so some of the homes have a pleasant water view.
If you need a convenient location, this community has it. Just East of McGregor Blvd. halfway between College Parkway and the Whiskey Creek Bridge, it's easy to get around town. At the same time, the community is tucked between McGregor and Winkler Road, and sometimes it seems people just pass right by and don't even realize it's there.
What makes Banyan Cove a Jewel is that it's a modern, up to date, well kept community, with decent sized lots. No postage stamp parcels here. Check out the size of the lots in most new communities. Land and infrastructure costs have become so expensive that today's developers are forced to build as many homes as possible on the land they have. You'll appreciate that spacious feeling that you get in Banyan Cove.
